Prior to the injections, we will numb you for your comfort. There may be swelling and/or bruising at the injection site, however, the use of ice and arnica can help reduce this. You should come to your appointment well-hydrated and avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (if doctor approved) for one week prior to your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising.
Typically, like dermal filler injections in the face, lip filler can last six to nine months. However, many clients choose to come back before that if they want just a bit more. If you have thin lips (and even if you don’t), it may take a couple of appointments to achieve your desired goal. And if you have remaining product, you may always come back for free touch ups until the entire product is used.
