Rhonda Nesbitt – RN Aesthetic Nurse Specialist
Skin Boutique was founded by Rhonda Nesbitt, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Specialist in 2005. Rhonda has a unique understanding of addressing the whole person when it comes to aesthetics and wellbeing!
Nurse Rhonda discovered Integrative Nurse Coaching the summer of 2018, while on sabbatical from her role as Nurse Injector at Skin Boutique. Since then, she has been healing, growing, discovering and working diligently on becoming a Board-Certified Integrative Nurse Health and Wellness Coach. She is also working toward becoming a Medical Cannabis Consultant™ and Meditation Instructor.
Rhonda is thrilled to bring nurse coaching, cannabis consulting and meditation training on board for clients. She repeatedly says that this decision has been the most perfect and natural progression of her 16-year nursing career with a focus on mind, beauty and wellness! With her vast clinical knowledge of client assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care and outcomes, she looks forward to helping you identify your strengths and your own potential to advance your life into an optimal level of health and wellness in a loving and warm environment. Kelly Riva, R.N., BSN – Aesthetic Injector
Kelly has been a registered nurse for over 30 years and a cosmetic injector for the past 13 years of her career. Kelly is known for her gentle and conservative approach and considers it important to provide honest advice while consulting on treatment strategies. Kelly truly enjoys using cosmetic injectables to help clients achieve facial rejuvenation with visible results that happen over time while educating in the areas of prevention, maintenance and enhancement to achieve realistic expectations.
To stay current with advanced injection techniques and cutting-edge products in the aesthetic field, Kelly frequently attends trainings, seminars, collaborates with other specialist in the field every chance she gets and in her downtime, you can find her with her iPad surfing for the latest and greatest to share with her enthusiastic following.
Kristie Bonner, MPAS, PA-C – Aesthetic Injector
Kristie is a board-certified physician assistant who has specialized in dermatology and cosmetic enhancements since 2007. When providing services, Kristie’s focus remains on obtaining optimal cosmetic results for clients seeking natural yet refined aesthetic enhancements. By using only the most advanced techniques, finest products, meticulous attention to detail and dedication to the artistic qualities of cosmetic medicine, Kristie seeks to work with her clients to achieve a beautiful and realistic outcome.
To ensure she remains at the forefront of this rapidly evolving field, Kristie attends trainings, seminars and continuing education meetings. Her philosophy is that there is always room for updated knowledge and techniques, which she integrates into her everyday practice.
Diane W. Doran, R.N., Aesthetic Injector
Diane has been a registered nurse for over 30 years and has years of cosmetic injecting experience. She has been practicing in California and most recently in Scottsdale, AZ before moving to Berkley in March 2018. Diane is delighted to be a part of the Skin Boutique team and is known for her gentle touch and honest approach in recommending only the most appropriate and effective treatments for each client she sees.
Diane prides herself on remaining current on the latest and most advanced injecting treatments and techniques in the ever changing cosmetic injectable industry. She continuously attends trainings and seminars by some of the most well known medical professionals in the industry to bring her clients the very best in service and results.
Dawn Burdette, R.N., BSN
Dawn graduated from the University of Michigan School of Nursing in 1999 and spent the first 12 years of her career in labor and delivery. Having always had a passion for dermatology, Dawn simultaneously educated herself on and gained experience in skincare — including skin types, conditions and the latest skincare trends, technology and treatments.
Dawn prides herself on helping others and offering skincare solutions, and clients consistently give positive feedback on her caring and compassionate demeanor. Dawn has thoroughly enjoyed developing relationships with Skin Boutique clients and loves every minute of her time helping clients look and feel their very best.
Anna Meyers, Medical Aesthetician
Anna holds a degree in small business and landscape design and graduated from Michigan College of Beauty with an aesthetics license so she could pursue her other passion — skincare! Anna has been with Skin Boutique since 2013 and has loved having the opportunity to care for her clients’ skin and help them feel their most confident.
Her talent and love of skincare has allowed her to positively impact the skin (and lives!) of hundreds of clients by recommending and performing the best treatments for each person’s unique skin and skin concerns, while also guiding them to the most effective skincare products to use at home.
In addition to Skin Boutique, Anna is an animal lover and enjoys spending time at home with her beloved dogs, gardening and collecting windchimes.
Beka Robiadek, Medical Aesthetician
Beka’s passion for skincare and beauty spans many years and she knew she wanted to pursue a career in skincare since she was a teenager. Beka is a graduate of Michigan College of Beauty and is delighted to be able to live her passion each day as a Licensed Aesthetician at Skin Boutique. Prior to graduating, she worked in the beauty industry for over four years where she was able to further hone her skills and knowledge base.
Beka’s self-proclaimed “obsession” with skincare — from skincare technologies to facial treatments to products and makeup — has led her to spend much of her free time researching the latest and greatest in the industry to stay on top of her craft and educate her clients.
She has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her clients at Skin Boutique and guiding them to the very best skincare solutions for their unique needs, and says the best part of her job is making people feel special and beautiful. Additionally, Beka is an animal lover at heart and an animal rights activist (and loves that all of Skin Boutique’s products are cruelty-free!).
Emily Henry, Medical Aesthetician
Emily has a Bachelor of Literature, Science and the Arts from the University of Michigan and received her aesthetics license from the Michigan College of Beauty. Her career in skincare started at the young age of 16 when she began doing makeup and brows for bridal parties and special events. Emily has worked in Birmingham for six years and prides herself on making others feel beautiful.
Emily is very detailed oriented and strives for perfection with each treatment. When she’s not working, she’s researching the latest skincare and beauty technologies, traveling, working out, gardening and spending time with her husband, daughter and son.
Silvana Palmer – Electrolysis Specialist
Always a Michigan girl, Silvana has been giving manicures and pedicures for over 20 years. Educated for nails at the Michigan College of Beauty in Troy, Silvana made a career decision to continue her education at Sally Esser Cosmetology where she learned how to perform Electrolysis. Through Electrolysis, Silvana is able to help people get the results they desire. Silvana says, “The majority of my clients have tried everything else to no avail. Once they begin to realize the permanent effects of electrolysis, they are very happy they began the process. I find it extremely rewarding to help people feel great about themselves!”
Silvana shares her life with her loving husband and two young daughters.
Yelena Simonyan – Waxologist / Nail Specialist
Born and initially educated in St. Petersburg, Russia, Yelena moved to the United States and continued on her career path by furthering her cosmetology education. Yelena attended the Michigan College of Beauty where she learned waxing techniques and perfected her manicure and pedicure procedure. Yelena has been doing nails and waxing for nearly 20 years and has created a very successful career by satisfying clients from all around metropolitan Detroit. In addition to waxing, traditional manicures and pedicures, Yelena offers Shellac polish application. Yelena specializes in giving her clients exactly what they want, taking the time to make them feel uniquely beautiful.
Yelena has one daughter and a very large extended family of clients and friends.
